Hi Martyn, Yep, got my building notice acceptance yesterday morning (basicaly permission to start) first inspection is to make sure i am going to start digging in the right place, shouldn't have thought that would be too difficult for me to work out as i drew the plans up in the first place. I need to book that appointment so can't do that until Tuesday (Monday is bank holiday over here) so with a bit of luck i will hopefully get the official go ahead to knock down the old garage and start digging the foundations for the new one on Thursday or Friday subject to how busy they are. Can't wait to get started, once it is finished it should make life so much easier. Cheers. Russ.

I second the 'photo's' idea. As in, seeing the progress. A man can't have enough sheds/garages ya know!.

Hi Bob, Same old problem because of the conservation area i couldn't put a satellite dish on the house without applying for planning permission (1.2 metre dish at the time) so stuck it on the garage which was lower and it couldn't be seen outside of my property. ;D Cheers. Russ.
