I've only been here 5 minutes and i'm already selling something (Sort of). This is a Charity event where Visitors pay for a ride in various race cars, Supercars, track day cars and classics and the money goes to Charity. They are still taking applications for classic cars to give rides and i thought it would be good to have a few Rods involved. (The SBC powered A sedan was popular last year). They are also looking for car clubs for static displays. Or you could come along and have a ride or two Anybody interested? Here is a link to their site - www.charityraceexperience.com/I'm already registered as we had a great time last year. And to add some colour, a few photos. Mk2 Cooper S in Scrutineering. Classics lining up before the drivers briefing. Model A ready to go on track. (350 chevy, 4 speed manual, No seat belts. I had a ride in this, it was awesome. ;D) 5 Gordini Early Espirit. MGC sebring. Skyline A40 Classic touring car Lunch break paddock shot. Cobra rep. 6 or 7 cylinder Escort. Stang. 3rd Gen Camaro Alf 155. Porsche 917 replica Mini on track i25.photobucket.com/albums/c72/jackchevelle/1481.jpgAnd some more 'Cougar in action' shots.. I managed around 50 laps in total before I ran out of fuel and brakes.

Hi Jack, I know the Porsche 917, belongs to Graham Turner. I spent about an hour or so chatting to him at the PCUK meet at Chateau Impney a couple of months ago. Really nice guy and knows his porkers. Cheers. Russ.
