I bought it out of Street Machine unseen, my brother and a friend went to check it out as I was in Spain. I think I paid 1800quid for it not sure now. It was imported into England by an American who went there to work, the car was his wife´s ride. They sold it when they went back to the States and I got it off that owner. I do have the original bill of sale and the build sheet, plus a bunch of MOT fails due to the wrong headlamps. I fiddled with the motor as it was with the horrible electronic QJet but it was always a pig. When I bought he 355 short block I also went to a Demon carb and Edelbrock intake. The ignition is all MSD. It´s also got another trans in it, a B/M 700R4, sent over from Summit. That was a bugger to fit as the car was up on four axle stands and I was alone. The cloth interior went and I replaced it with vinyl, much easier to clean and not so dull. In all there is´nt much original car left.

Hi Malc,
She still looks good, i was amazed at how clean it all looked underneath when you posted up the pics of the shocks and mounts, i guess the warm climate you live in has helped no end.
Cheers.
Russ.

I did get galloping rot on the doors around the hinges and got replacements from California. Sometimes, early in the year, it can get pretty wet here. Took me by surprise, one day no rot, next......riddled with it. Lucky it never migrated to the body.
