I have never been to one of these events before, what should I know? I am not sure yet if I will be going in one of the classics or a daily. I will be a browser not a seller so I am wondering how much it costs to enter? Swap Meet InfoThanks in advance

I think it 4 pounds for a NSRA member and about 7 for a guest, but I might be wrong. Look on the NSRA website and it will tell you more I am sure. You can only park in the carpark and leave your car, so dont take anything precious, stories of past years of things going missing. Its good if its dry but always cold and if windy very dusty.

Ok so it sounds like a day for a daily driver and a mooch at whats for sale

Hi Bluff, If the weather is fair/good you will be surprised how many people take there cars out to play. Getting parked is normaly quite easy but i would get there early so you are near the front of the queue to get in. Cheers. Russ.

As you can see from Russ's photo you MUST be wearing scruffy clothes! Oh and you must keep your hands in your pockets to reduce pilfering (see photo also).

pilfering all round, cars as well, thats why I suggested daily as good for a spin in the car but not for it to be damaged or stolen.. plus ages to get out so make sure you water if you boil over easily.

Fair chance you will need waterproofs, wellies and an umbrella if the past couple of months are anything to go by.
Cheers.
Russ.
