Excellent pics Russ. Well done ! Brings it all back. Highlights for me were watching Elmo trying to keep "Doris" in a straight line and Ginner's Fordson going like a bat out of hell ! Brilliant stuff !

Brilliant stuff ! Hi Steve, I think Elmo was just cheating, trying to get in some extra time ready for the slalom course. ;D Ginner did really well, i think they must have got the car set up spot on, every single run was in the 9's, i think the best run was a 9.44 at 128mph which suggest's he got out of it early, which is hardly surprising as on some runs you are heading straight towards a plane and live runway with only a bit of fence between you. I have been following Ginner's progress ever since he brought the van out, no heroics and leaning on it from the get go, just chipping away gradualy at the times and tweaking the van inbetween runs/meetings. Cheers. Russ.

GREAT PICS AS USUAL RUSS, LOVIN' THE GREY PRIMERED MK1 CAPRI & IT'S GREAT TO SEE STREET ODYSSEY BACK OUT AND BEING PUT THROUGH IT'S PACES.... Hi mopar, Thanks for the compliement on the pics, still got a few more yet. I think the Capri might be an old car that has resurfaced, sure i recognise the reg number. The MK1 Cavalier is an old car aswell used to be called "the laughing Cavalier" belong's to Bob Smith, i can remember Bob running back in the late 80's early 90's when i used to race used to be green back then, think it was also blue for a while. The FD Victor i also remember originaly built by a good friend of mine Nigel Speed used to be called "Speedy's Toy" was red back in 89 and was running 17's i think with a Rover V8 over the next few years Nige and his crew man Kev did lots to it and tried various engine gearbox combinations and got it into the 9's around 1993. If i remember correctly he got sponsored by Valveoline hence the colour change. I believe Billy Game has since done a lot of work to it bearing in mind the car had been off the track for 20 years. Cheers. Russ.
